I want to start my own tea business can you recommend any good books about the tea industry and on marketing?
scotty boy asked:
I would like to start a home based tea business, generally catering for the local population who would like to buy good quality tea. I may also think about supplying to small local retailers. The key would be advertsising and marketing, I would only have a very small budget to start so I want to learn as much as possible that is why I am asking for advice on what to read.

The tea industry - Nick Hall
You are not going to believe this but I have just the book recommendation for you. See if your local library has or can order through the system the book, “Marketing Without Money” by Nicholas E Bade. The book lists 300 ways to advertise your business for free or very low cost. Just trying out one concept a month will take you 300 months to see which will work best for you and your industry.

The best way to start this would be surveying the community you are thinking about selling too.
