How do I get started on learning how to start a business(Pool Hall)?

business books
Victor asked:

Let me throw it down for you, I am in the Navy right now. but afterwards I want to start a pool hall business, and or something else like a restaurant. Are their any books that you have seen that would help me, a website?, or any kind of computer programs. I do plan on going to college for business administration. Is that what I should go to college for?

Please don’t give me an answer like read business books or look it up on google.

Maybe you could look into a small business loan, or maybe a grant. If you can get a business grant that is pretty much money you do not have to pay back. There are programs out there they are just tough to find. I hope that helps.

Go to and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to discuss veterans programs..

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.
