I have tried to stress these points to my step-daughter; unfortunately at times it is as if I am speaking to a brick wall and that her friends are more important to her than achieving examination success. She always seems to be talking to her friends on the telephone or via some messaging service on the internet. She will learn as I am going to make sure that she learns!
