Can anyone recommend any books (or websites) which could help me with setting up my own business?

business books
kchick8080 asked:

I want to start my own business, offering holstic treatments such as Indian Head Massage, Reiki and reflexology, I would like to have my own salon/treatment rooms. I don’t really know where to start; I am a qualified therapist but just need some advice on the practical side of things. If anyone can offer me words of wisdom or point me in the right direction towards helpful reading material it would be much apreciated!

First check the rules and regulations of your state. Then visit several groups and offer free examples of what you are offering. This gives people an understanding and they get to meet you.
Contact other holistic business people in your area and find out if they are providing space for you to rent. You will probably find you can rent part time space for a Percentage of what you charge.
Advertising is important look for a local magazine that centers toward that.. AND
Have a website for your area.
