Usually the school will give you a list of books that are required. However if you’re looking for books and aren’t enrolled in classes I recommend starting with business law books. The newer ones have lots of great information related to SOX compliance and liability laws.
Kinicki, A. and B. Williams. Management: A Practical Introduction, 2nd Ed. McGraw-Hill, 2006. (ISBN-13 9780073138961)
Perreault, W. D., Jr. and E. J. McCarthy. Essentials of Marketing, 10th Ed. McGraw/Hill, 2006. (ISBN-13 9780073049205)
