I was involved actively as an Amway distributor from 2002-2005, and during this time I travelled to several major events where Bill was a keynote speaker. I heard income speculations ranging from ridiculous to outrageous. (The highest rumors were upwards of $300 million annually). I think he talked more about religion and politics than he did about Amway, which didn’t surprise me that much because I had been going to Amway events for 3 years - and they all do that.
Bill Britt built the foundation for his business in the late 1960’s and 1970’s through traditional Network Marketing tactics, including home meetings, hotel briefings, Saturday training events, and weekend Seminar excursions.
Bill Britt also runs one of the largest international personal development companies - Britt Worldwide, which distributes millions of audio cds monthly on a standing order program recommended for all Amway distributors. It is estimated that more than 90% of Bill Britt’s income comes from CDs, books, and seminars, although there is no way to verify this claim other than pure conjecture.
Bill Britt’s preaching resonates with that of popular Christian churches - unlimited riches by following God’s laws, limited government interference in business, and placing the family above all else - he even occasionally manages to throw the Amway business in there.
